1. Personal Information We Collect
The Company collects the following personal information.
- When submitting a website inquiry: Name, email address, phone number (optional), company name (optional), inquiry details
- Software usage statistics (collected by default; can be turned off in app settings): Anonymous installation identifier, product name and version, operating system and version, device architecture, language, usage events such as install, launch, update and exit with timestamps, session length, access region (country/region) — file, photo and document contents or paths and user or computer names are never collected, and IP addresses are used solely to determine region and are not stored thereafter.
- In-app ad impressions and clicks (optional, with consent): Anonymous identifier, ad impression and click status with timestamps, product, access region (country). Collected for ad performance measurement purposes only; individuals are not identified.
- Automatically generated and collected information: Service usage records, access logs (for security and statistical purposes, retained for a set period)
- When you purchase a product and a license is issued: Orderer name, order number, email address, phone number (optional) and the activation code generated by the app — email addresses and phone numbers are stored encrypted.
- When you buy through international payment (Paddle): Payment is processed by our reseller Paddle. The Company receives the order number, name, email address, country, and payment amount and status from Paddle. The Company does not receive payment details such as card numbers.
- When you subscribe to our newsletter (optional, with consent): email address, the language of the page you subscribed on, and the times of consent and unsubscription — email addresses are stored encrypted. For each newsletter we send, we record whether it was opened and which links were clicked (sending statistics).
The Company does not collect sensitive information such as beliefs, health data, or national identification numbers.
2. Purposes for Collecting and Using Personal Information
- Receiving and responding to inquiries, and handling consultations and contracts (product adoption and custom development)
- Improving product and service quality, identifying errors, and analyzing usage statistics
- Displaying in-app advertisements and measuring ad performance (impressions and clicks)
- Fulfilling legal obligations and handling disputes
- Issuing and delivering licenses, resending them for reinstallation, confirming purchases and answering purchase-related inquiries
- Sending news about new products, new versions and events to people who agreed to receive it
3. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information
The Company destroys personal information without delay once the purpose of collection has been fulfilled. However, the following information is retained for the periods specified below.
- Inquiry and consultation records: 3 years after the matter is resolved
- Raw software usage statistics data: 6 months (thereafter retained only as de-identified aggregate statistics)
- Where retention is required by applicable law, for the period prescribed by such law
- Purchase and license issuance records: kept while the license is in use (to resend licenses and confirm purchases). If the buyer requests deletion, the email address and phone number are destroyed without delay and only the license number, product and issue date are kept.
- Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe. Unsubscribe records are deleted after 1 year.
4. Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties
The Company does not disclose users' personal information to third parties, except as required by applicable law and in the case of international payments described below.
International card payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited (United Kingdom) as the Merchant of Record. Information Paddle collects at checkout is handled under Paddle's privacy policy (https://www.paddle.com/legal/privacy). The resulting transfer of personal information abroad is as follows.
- Recipient: Paddle.com Market Limited (London, United Kingdom; contact: paddle.com/legal/privacy)
- When and how: At the time of an international payment, sent over an encrypted connection through the checkout
- Items: Name, email address, country, postal code, payment details, products ordered and amount
- Purposes: Processing payments, calculating taxes, issuing receipts, refunds and fraud prevention
- Retention: For the period set by Paddle's privacy policy and applicable law
- How to refuse: Nothing is transferred if you do not use international payment. Customers in Korea can buy through Naver Smart Store.
5. Outsourcing of Personal Information Processing
The Company may outsource certain tasks, such as cloud infrastructure, for service operations. When doing so, the Company establishes the necessary provisions to ensure that personal information is handled securely by the service provider. Data is stored in domestic regions as a general principle.
- Newsletter delivery: Amazon Web Services, Inc. (Amazon SES, Seoul region) — recipient email address and message content
6. Rights of Data Subjects and How to Exercise Them
Users may request access to, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing of their personal information at any time. Turning off "Send anonymous usage statistics" in the app settings stops usage statistics collection immediately (you can also ask us via the contact information below). The Company will take action without delay.
7. Destruction of Personal Information
Personal information for which the retention period has expired or the purpose of processing has been fulfilled is deleted using methods that make electronic files irrecoverable, and printed materials are shredded or incinerated.
8. Security Measures
The Company implements reasonable safeguards including access control management, transmission encryption (HTTPS), access controls, and multi-factor authentication.
9. Automatic Data Collection Tools Such as Cookies
The Company may use a minimal number of cookies for service operation and analytics. Users may refuse cookies through their browser settings.
